Our eco-friendly hemp belt is handmade by the local villagers from the remote Himalayas of Nepal. Local villagers collect hemp from the remote mountain regions. They grow in the wilderness, completely organic and natural.
The process begins by soaking the hemp plant in water. Then, it is boiled with ash to naturally bleach it to make it softer. Further, it is dried on big rocks in the Himalayas for a day in sunlight. The product is then turned into thread by hand and used to make hats, fanny packs, backpacks, belt, slippers and accessories.
