We are very excited about our newest premium athletic version of our bike shorts. This fabric is 280 GSM thickness while our previous version was 225 GSM. So these are significantly thicker and waistband is slightly tighter as well. In addition, this version has a gusset crotch.

We will be using this fabric for some of our other products in the near future. For those of you that love the original thinner weight, for now, we will be carrying both.

Our hemp, cotton, spandex bike shorts are perfect for biking, running, the gym, yoga, walking, traveling, lounging at home, while being stylish enough to wear out. Our bike shorts are unlike any that you probably have ever owned.

They have a yoga style waistband which doesn't have elastic so please note it maybe looser than you maybe familiar with. They are made from 52% hemp and 43% cotton unlike many bike shorts that are made from 100% synthetics like polyester, nylon and elastane/lycra.

Hemp is an all natural material that gets softer with each wash.

(Since this fabric is significantly thicker than our other version, the fit tends to be tighter than our original version. So you may want to consider sizing up if the other version was tight.)

Fabric Care: Machine washable

Nice thick fabric. Would be nice if waist band was more elastic so it could be more form fitting and stay up better. Overall good quality

I ordered the 9' but I received the 3', they must have accidentally sent me the wrong one. But it was the color I wanted. I got the brown. Although I would prefer the 9' I am still happy with the 3' to wear at home. Feels a bit short for public (to me personally, I am a bit curvy and tall) I'll just order another one of the 9'! It's very cute and most importantly NOT SEE THROUGH! YAYYY! I have been on a desperate hunt for organic and non toxic activewear that isn't see through and I have wasted so much money from other brands that edited photos on their website and once I received the item it was see through and bad quality. But I love Asatre! I also have draw string shorts from them that I absolutely love and want in every color! Highly recommend, I for sure will be saving money for more items from them! <3

I am a big fan of hemp as a fabric in general, but after buying these I’m not sure it’s the best in a stretchy blend for workout pieces. It’s a little dense and lightly itchy but I think the big thing I notice, versus just cotton and stretch, is the inability to be really stretched out without being see through and kind of doesn’t bounce back as well. Hard to explain but over all my body shape is large hips/booty and a small waist and I need things to be able to stretch on the hips while still fitting my waist. The large fits my waist but it makes the bottom totally see through. And I know an XL would be too big on the waist. Also bought the leggings and feel the same way. Moving forward I’ll stick to cotton or bamboo for stretchy and hemp blend for not.
